Tape Measure Bracelet Tutorial Inspired by Pinterest

Updated Pinterest Terms and Celebration Pinterest Linky

 

Good news, Pinterest is updating their terms as of April 6, 2012.  I think everyone will be happier with the new terms.  Many folks were worried by using Pinterest they could be opening up a can of worms and chances of legal issues.  Now I am no lawyer but from what I understand with the old terms, folks were concerned that Pinterest would and could sell their pictures pinned, and in turn if the picture you pinned wasn't yours, then you could be sued for copyright infringement.  

Here is a quick look at what the new terms will mean for us pin heads:

 The new terms state that Pinterest will not sell your pictures! 

They will not allow pics that encourage self- harm or self-abuse.

These new terms are also paving the way to having private pin boards!

Seriously, now that I have your attention, you should be pinning because it's a great way to promote your blog and business.  Pinterest has consistently remained my #1 traffic source, sending me thousands of page views each day.  Not to mention it's fun to use.  Unlike the Gawker sites, which also send me traffic, but not as much, you have the freedom to pin whatever you want.  Just like these 9 beautiful calorie free men I pinned to my Craving Board ;)

Are You Ready For A Valentine Contest? (There will be prizes!!!)

My Valentines Pinterest Pin Board

Well some of you may already know that I will be hosting a Valentines crafting and cooking contest here at Bacon Time starting on January 16th!

I know all you crafty and cooking blogging beauties are going to have special Valentine themed recipes and projects up your sleeve, so why not link them up at Bacon Time for a chance to win some great prizes, and of course some bragging rights.  To enter you will have to link up your projects in the
