I have seen a few S'more cocktail recipes around blog land and even one on Pinterest. I wanted to try my hand at one. Living on a budget, I wanted to keep the cost down. I also wanted to keep it as low cal and fat as possible. With Summer right around the corner, I decided I wanted my S'more cocktail to be cold and refreshing. This cocktail recipe is super easy and delicious. My husband who is not a cocktail drinker even loved it. I hope you will enjoy it this Summer safely with family and friends.

If you have been following along, you may remember that I recently bid on a vintage dress from this fabulous Ebay shop called Park Avenue Pin Up. Needless to say I won the auction. Unfortunately when the dress arrived it was to big, so I had to put my sewing skills to the test. I had never altered a dress before. It didn't turn out perfect, but for a first time alteration I think I did alright.

CoronaRita and Chili's Gift Card Giveaway!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Chili’s Grill & Bar for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
If this CoronaRita doesn't make you excited for Cinco De Mayo and Summertime, I don't know what else will. Chili's has always been a fun place to dine with friends and family, and now with their new Summer cocktail I am even more excited to dine there. I feel like this cocktail was made special for my husband and I. It would be the perfect drink to share with him on a romantic date. My husband enjoys Coronas, and I enjoy margaritas, what a perfect combo. It sounds so refreshing on a hot day, or even on a hot date, I can't wait to try one.
One of the things I love about Chili's is that they offer lighter items on their menu. They have lots of great dinner entree choices that are under 750 calories and 25 grams of fat. They have a NEW Grilled Chicken Salad and Sweet and Spicy Chicken entree that both look incredible.
The new CoronaRita would complement any of their dinner entrees. With the sparkling Coronita, Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila, and fresh lime, what a great way to end a meal. I have never tried a margarita mixed with beer so I am very intrigued.
Here are a few other Chili's menu items that intrigue me:
Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie!
Molten Chocolate Cake!
I know I can't be the only one drooling over here. The great part about desserts is that they are meant to be shared with family and friends. Although I must admit, these desserts look so good, you might not want to share. The point is, it's almost Summer, the kids will be on school break soon, get everyone together for a great relaxing meal at a Chili's restaurant near you.
GIVEAWAY!
How would you like to win a $25 gift card to try the new CoronaRita at Chili's or anything else that tempts your taste buds?
All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below on this blog post letting me know what menu item you would order at Chili's to complement the new CoronaRita. NOTE, you must leave your email address in the comment to be eligible to win. IZEA media will choose the winner. Please read the official rules.

AppGear Newest Toys

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of AppGear for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
AppGear is an app that takes toys and gaming to a new level. In todays world, toys, gaming, smart phones, and tablets are meshing together more and more with the help of AppGear. Our kids now a days are connected to the web and mobile devices more then ever. My three year old can even navigate his way a little bit on my smart phone to find games he likes. AppGear is diving into this trend releasing Foam Fighters and ZombieBurbz this month, and will be releasing 4 more titles in the next 3 months!
ZombieBurbz in particular caught my eye. To quote AppGear, "Zombies are tired of being misunderstood by their neighbors. They're just average slowly decomposing suburbanites who want to keep up with the Joneses, not eat them." AppGear's new ZombieBurbz is a collectible line of fun zombie figures that battle it out with human opponents on an Android or iPad tablet screen. Here is a short YouTube video that will explain more from AppGear on ZombieBurbz, at YouTube.
What do you think about this trend, toys that are compatible with our Android or iPad screens? I know my older son would love this. Let me know what you think in a comment below.

Sometimes you don't need a difficult recipe just a little creativity to make a meal fun and enjoyable for your kids. This is nutritious sandwich that you and the kids will love to eat. Inspired by this Summers new blockbuster film The Dark Night Rises, scheduled to release in July 2012, and a vintage 1977 baking set we own (pictured below), I came up with this fun recipe. Of course it would be perfect for a Halloween gathering too. I originally had planned to use rye bread, so that the bats would be darker, but had to improvise since it was out of stock.

Except for many of us, including myself, it looks more like this "BOob" or "BoOb".
I know that I am not alone on this matter. Many women like myself deal with insecurities regarding their uneven breasts. I should mention that I naturally developed unevenly, however if you suddenly notice a change in your breasts, one larger then the other, you should discuss the matter with your health care professional. I am here to share what I have found works for me, and makes my breast appear even in size. No magic tricks, no photo shop, no custom made expensive bra inserts, or painful surgeries needed, all you need is a good bra.

Rethink Oral Health Care with CloSYS
Posted by

2:54 PM
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of CloSYS for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I was recently sent CloSYS, an oral health rinse to review. One of the things I first noticed about CloSYS was how easy it was to use. Unlike a typical mouthwash or rinse, there was no burning with CloSYS. The next thing I noticed was there was no scent to the health rinse, yet it worked incredibly well at leaving my mouth feeling clean and fresh. This impressed me, because I knew I wasn't just masking bad breath odors with mint or cinnamon, I was actually destroying those nasty germs that cause bad breath. Isn't that what we all want, not just a mouth that smells fresh but that is actually healthy?
Now no worries, if you love a nice mint flavored mouth rinse, you can still enjoy CloSYS because they include a mint flavoring you can add to the rinse if you so choose. The best part is you can add as much or little as you'd like to suit your own personal taste. Another feature I love about CloSYS is that it is alcohol free. Not only does it eliminate the burn factor that some rinses have, but it makes it safe to use on mouth night guards like the one I wear to help with my TMJ. In only ten seconds CloSYS' patented system will kill 99.9% of harmful bacteria! Not only does it work quickly but it provides long-lasting breath protection. It works longer than typically mouthwashes because it is actually balancing healthy PH levels in your mouth!
Not only is it important to use CloSYS to eliminate nasty sulfur compounds that cause bad breath, but studies show that good oral health can lead to a healthier body all together. Recent studies are finding a link between periodontal disease and heart disease. Infections in the mouth may introduce bacteria into the bloodstream traveling to other parts of the body. This is one of the many reasons why oral health is so important.
If you think oral health is important, then please like CloSYS on Facebook. Come on, doesn't everyone want a kissable mouth, I know I do.

Money Saving Homemade Almost Kashi Whole Grain Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

A Bacon Time reader by the name of Lorie Krajewski recently emailed me with a challenge. She wanted to know if I could come up with a recipe similar to Kashi's Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Soft-Baked Cookies. She personally loves the cookies, but at around 50 cents a piece, she was hoping to find a more affordable way to satisfy her craving for the wholegrain treat. I think I came up with a recipe that is very similar tasting to the Kashi cookies.
The good news is that my homemade whole grain cookies cost almost half the price of the store bought cookies. When I gave a blind taste test to my husband and two boys, the homemade cookies were a unanimous favorite.
