Do You Need A Vacation?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
If you are in need of a vacation, why not consider Branson Missouri.  Branson is beautiful in the Fall, with the changing leaves, crisp air, and lovely scenery.  Branson Missouri offers an ideal vacation, the entire family can enjoy.  The Hilton of Branson offers 3 incredible packages, for thrill seekers, holiday goers, and shop-till-you-droppers.
You thrill seekers can head to Silver Dollar City, an 1880's themed experience surrounded by the beautiful Ozark Mountains in Branson, MO.  The Silver Dollar City package features two adults and two kids tickets and rooms for only $257.50 a night.
The Santa Claus package features deluxe accommodations for a family of four (two adults and two kids).  You and your children will enjoy having breakfast with Santa at the Level 2 restaurant.  Your kids will even receive a special gift, with rooms starting at $228 a night.
For the shoppers, The Deluxe Shopping package includes hotel accommodations, a $25 gift card for Branson Landing, and a second $25 gift card for Tanger Outlets, as well as a complementary breakfast buffet for two.  You will be able to get all of your holiday shopping done.
The Hilton online sites are easy to navigate, making planning your vacation a breeze.  Just check out what these gorgeous hotels have to offer:
At Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing you will find contemporary hotel rooms, suites, and condos available.  All rooms have a beautiful view, situated on Lake Taneycomo.  Branson Landing is a luxurious waterfront shopping, dinning, and entertainment district. You will be able to enjoy over a 100 specialty stores while you stay in comfort.   On your trip you will be able to enjoy their fitness room and pool, that is if you have the time and energy, after enjoying all this city has to offer.
At Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel you will never be with out entertainment. The hotel is connected to the Branson Convention center, keeping you at the heart of all the main attractions. Everyone will be able to enjoy the charm Historic Downtown Branson Missouri has to offer.  Besides breath taking views from your room, you will be able to enjoy the Level 2 Steakhouse, fire pits, cabanas, fitness center, pool, and fishing amenities (my boys would love this).
My husband and I have always enjoyed theater, it's one of those rare things we have in common.  We would be sure to check out a show on our next trip to Branson. While I enjoy shopping, I am sure my boys will be able to enjoy the great fishing and golfing the city has to offer.
Of course my carnivorous bunch will be able to enjoy the Level 2 Steakhouse, where you will find 28 day aged corn fed Midwest beef, fresh seafood flown in from Hawaii, Heritage Missouri pork, and local produce.  Delicious meals prepared in their amazing 1600 degree infrared oven that provides and amazing sear, to really lock in the juices, and provide incredible flavor.  Of course your Bacon Time momma wouldn't dream of skipping the dessert menu while on vacation.  If you are planing a trip over the Thanksgiving holiday, they even have a Thanksgiving Brunch and Turkey to Go meals.
My last trip to Missouri we were in the middle of a move, and had only a little time to visit family.  We were not able to appreciate all that Branson has to offer.  Not that our family wasn't accommodating, but I sure would love to go back, and stay at one of these beautiful Hilton Hotels, and enjoy a real family vacation.

Stand Up Comedy For The Entire Family

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of American Family Insurance for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have a special treat for you all at Bacon Time today.  I am a huge fan of stand up comedy.  I believe that laughter really can be the best medicine.  When ever I am feeling blue, I will snuggle on the couch with my husband and watch some stand up comedy.  Before watching most stand up acts, we usually have to send the kids to their rooms, or wait until they are asleep, due to the general content and language in most shows. Thanks to  American Family Insurance we now have stand up that the entire family can enjoy.   I have some wonderful family stand up videos for you all to watch hosted by Bill Bellamy here at  Stand Up For Family by AmFam.  I really appreciate AmFam for bringing us comedy the entire family can watch together.
I enjoyed watching all of the video clips.  They really made me think about my own funny childhood memories.  I remember as a child growing up, we were aloud to run around all day outside unsupervised. I would never think of letting my kids do this today.  I remember my mom always hated when we would run inside and outside a lot, probably because we were tracking in dirt or mud.  I remember you would have to make a big decision on Saturday morning, were you going to play outside all day or inside.  My folks would not stand for us running in back and forth all day long.
One of my favorite videos from the collection was "Momma Talk" by Bill Bellamy . I could really relate to this video.  I received the "talk" as a child, and give my energetic boys the "talk" too when visiting other folks homes.  Hoping they will remember their manners while we are out, and prey they don't break anything.
I loved Mark Viera's video "In The Window".  I think we all can relate to a nosey relative or neighbor that is always snooping out the window.  Heck, I have had some neighbors that don't even stay inside, they are out in the middle of the street if anything exciting happens on the block. Not even trying to mind their own business.
After watching the videos let me know what you think.  Do you have a favorite act?  Do you appreciate that the entire family can watch these comedians?  Do these videos make you think about your own childhood and the importance of family?  I hope get to enjoy watching these videos with your own families.
